Richard Tapp, an aged citizen of Hensley Township, died Tuesday night. He was one of the pioneer citizens of Johnson County and highly respected in the community. The immediate cause of his death was a severe attack of flux. The funeral occurred yesterday at ten o’clock, interment at Stott’s Creek cemetery. Mrs. Prakhurst [sic Parkhurst] whose death is mentioned elsewhere was a daughter of Mr. Tapp.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned as Administrator of the estate of Richard T. Tapp, deceased, late of Johnson county, Indiana, will, on
SATURDAY, SEPT. 23, 1893,
sell at public auction, at the late residence of said decedent, two miles northwest of Trafalgar, all the personal property belonging to the estate of said decedent not taken by the widow, consisting of one Milch Cow, one Brood Mare, Buggy and Harness, one Sow and Pigs, lot Cord Wood, Plow, Log Chain, Hay in mow, Bed and Bedding, Corn in field, Household and Kitchen Furniture, and other articles common to a farm.
TERMS—All sales of $5 and under, cash, and all sales over $5 a credit of six months will be given, the purchaser giving note with approved surety without relief from valuation and appraisment laws and bearing no interest until after maturity. No Property removed until terms of sale are complied with.
Sale to commence at ten o’clock a.m.
