The infant child of Samuel Surface and wife died April 1st. Mr. Surface is a son-in-law of Jacob B. Dressler living near Center Grove high school.
Notes: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Birth Index 1882–1920, referencing Book H-4, page 27, records that a male infant was born to S. F. Surface and M. L. Dresler [sic] on 28 Mar 1895.
The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index 1882-1920 records on page 200, referencing Book H-17, page 13, that 5-day-old male infant Surface died on 1 Apr 1895 in Indiana. His tombstone gives Infant Son Surface’s death date as 30 Mar 1895.
