John ’J.B.’ Stine 
  John "J.B." Stine, 89, died Monday,
July 24, 2000, at Homeview Health
Care Center in Franklin. He was a
resident of Edinburgh.
  He was born Nov. 15, 1910, in
Orleans. His parents were Carl W.
and Dosie (Spellman) Stine.
Survivors include two brothers,
Lawrence C. Stine of Brookings,
S.D., and Robert E. Stine of
Edinburgh. He was preceded in death
by two sisters, Katherine Eberhart
and Florence Cisco.
  He was employed by Amos-Thompson
Veneer Co. in Edinburgh, retiring
Dec. 22, 1975.
  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World
War II.
  A service will be conducted at
10:30 a.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton
Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Friends
may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday
at the funeral home. Burial will be
at Rest Haven Cemetery in
Edinburgh.

  He retired in 1975 from
Amos-Thompson Veneer Co.
  Funeral will be conducted at 10:30
a.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton
Funeral Home. Calling will be from
4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will
be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
  Mr. Stine was born in Orleans Nov.
15, 1910, the son of Carl W. and
Dosie Spellman Stine.
  He is survived by brothers,
Lawrence C. Stine of Brookings,
S.D., and Robert E. Stine of
Edinburgh.
  He was preceded in death by sisters
Katherine Eberhart and Florence
Cisco.
