Grethel M. Stillabower
      Grethel May Stillabower, 86, died Sunday at Johnson Memorial Hospital in
Franklin.  She was a resident of Edinburgh.
      She was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Edinburgh.  Her parents were Harry Fulton
and Permelia (Stainbrook) Fulton.  She married Glenn Stillabower April 30,
1923.  He survives.  Other survivors include a son, Dr. Gerald Stillabower
of Decatur.  She was also preceded in death by a son, John D. Stillabower;
a daughter, Glenna Jo Powers; a brother, John Fulton; nine grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.
      She was employed by Indiana Bell in Columbus as an operator for 23 years,
retiring 1966.
      She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and Edinburgh First
Presbyterian Church.
       The Rev. David Bremer will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at
Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in
Edinburgh.
      Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.

GRETHEL STILLABOWER -- EDINBURGH
      EDINBURGH -- Grethel May Stillabower, 86, of Edinburgh, died at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday, Aug. 23, 1992, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
      She was a member of Edinburgh First Presbyterian Church and retired in
1966 from Indiana Bell, where she was an operator 27 years.  She was a
member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
      Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral
Home, with the Rev. David Bremer officiating.  Calling will be from 4 to 8
p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
      Mrs. Stillabower was born Dec. 9, 1905, at Edinburgh, the daughter of
Harry and Permelia Stainbrook Fulton.  She married Glenn Stillabower April
