The undersigned coroner of Johnson county, Indiana, did on the 27th day of April 1891, hold an inquest on the body of Mathew Stuart [sic], late of said county, found dead at his residence in the city of Franklin, Johnson county, Indiana, on the 24th day of April 1891, and having viewed the body and heard the testimony of witnesses, find that the deceased came to his death by reason of rupture of semi-lunar valve of the heart.
Deceased was about seventy-four years of age, six feet high, complexion colored.
The following articles were found upon his body and delivered to his wife: sixty-five cents in money, one old knife and one shucking peg.
