Eugenia C. Steffen, 84, Village Towers, Greenwood, a retired seamstress for L. S. Ayres and Company, died Saturday at home. The Rev. Larry Osmon will conduct a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from  1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.

The daughter of John Q. and Minnie (Mitchell) Adams she was a native of Lincoln, Neb. She lived in the Indianapolis area for 82 years where she was a member of the Garfield Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Lynn A. Steffen, Indianapolis, Donald L. Steffen, Greenwood and Thomas L. Steffen, New Whiteland, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn T. Steffen and a daughter, Mildred Williams.
