Mrs. Stainbrook
Dies Early Sunday

After an illness of some duration, Mrs. Rebecca Ann Stainbrook, widow of the late Rev. George E. Stainbrook, died at 2:30 o’clock Sunday morning in a local nursing home.

Funeral services have been planned for Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church on Vine Street in Shelbyville with burial taking place in Forest Hill ceme­tery.

Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary at any time after 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and until time for the services, to which they are invited.

Native of Marietta

Mrs. Stainbrook was born Oct. 6, 1871, at Marietta and her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson.

She was a life resident of Shelby county and was a member of the Jollity Methodist church where her husband was pastor for many years.

She became the bride of the Rev. Mr. Stainbrook and five children were born to them.

Those surviving are three sons, Virgil Stainbrook, of Franklin; El­mer Stainbrook, of Lafayette; Carl Stainbrook, of Shelbyville; and a daughter, Mrs. Russell Wickliff, of Greenfield.

Others who remain are a number of grandchildren and great-grand­children.

The Rev. Mr. Stainbrook died in March 1932, and a son, Clarence Stainbrook, died last year.
