The will of Mrs. Phoebe Snyder was filed for probate Monday. It names Mrs. Rosanna Oakwood, a sister, as the chief beneficiary and also executrix of the estate. She has filed bond.

Death of Mrs. Snyder.
Mrs. Phoebe Snyder, widow of the late Dr. Wm. Snyder, died at her home, corner of Water and Monroe streets, this city, Thursday evening of last week, after a lingering illness of heart trouble.
Deceased was born in Kentucky, in 1832 [sic]; was married to Wm. Snyder Dec. 26, 1846. She came to this city many years ago with her husband and has resided her continuously since. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a good Christian lady.
The funeral took place from the residence at three o’clock Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. L. P. Marshall. Burial in Greenlawn cemetery.
