Ben Smith, brother of J. P. Smith of our city, died at his home in Indianapolis on Saturday. His wife died some five weeks ago and was brought to our city for interment. His death was caused by an abnormally swollen tongue which caused suffocation. He was well known in our city where he formerly resided.
