Funeral Rites Tuesday
For Mrs. Smith

The Reverend Ray Bozell conducted funeral ser­vices Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 P.M. at the Mor­rison-Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburgh for Mrs. Ad­eline (Addie) Smith, 78, who died Saturday night at Johnson County Memor­ial Hospital. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, widow of the late Ambrose (Ab) Smith, had spent all her married life in the Edinburg area and had been at the Wel­come Nursing Home in Franklin since 1968. She was born March 29, 1893, in Brown County the daughter of William E. and Ella Harris Robbins and was married to Mr. Smith September 23, 1910. Mr. Smith preceded in death May 11, 1968.

Surviving are two daugh­ters, Mrs. Annabelle Grow, Edinburg route #1, and Mrs. Josephine Puck­ett of Mt. Auburn; one son, William Carl Smith, Edinburg; a sister, Mrs. Nora Drabling of Indian­apolis; five grandchil­dren and two great-grand­children. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
