Daniel C. Smajo, 77, Franklin, formerly of Nineveh, died June 8. He had been a construction electrician in Chicago. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Edinburgh (Ind.) American Legion and Lind-Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Services: 2 p.m. June 10 in Edinburgh United Methodist Church. Calling: 6 to 8 p.m. June 9 in Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh. Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
