Our community is in sad sympathy with the family of Moses Sisco, who have been so sorely afflicted with sickness and death during the past few weeks. About four weeks ago his son Lon sickened and died from typhoid fever, since which sad event, four other children were strickened with the same dread disease. On last Monday evening his eldest daughter Cora, a bright young girl of sixteen, died. Her funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church and was largely attended. A younger daughter is laying very low with the fever with scarcely any hope for her recovery. The remaining son is thought to be convalescing.
