Elijah Stinnett, who came here a few weeks ago to recuperate at the home of [his] brother Lindly [sic Lindsey] Stinnett, grew worse gradually until death ensued Tuesday morning. The immediate cause of his death was dropsy superinduced by la grippe. He was buried Wednesday.
