The funeral of Miss Mary L. Sims whose death occurred at Edinburg last Friday, took place Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Charles Wilson.
Note: The 1880 US Federal Census for Edinburg, Johnson County, Indiana records twenty-five-year-old, Indiana-born single Mary Sims as living in the household of her forty-three-year-old, Virginia-born saloon keeper brother-in-law, Joseph Hughes and her thirty-eight-year-old, Indiana-born sister, Palmyra Hughes.
