BESSIE C. SHERMAN
Bessie C. Sherman, 82, 808 E. Main, Edinburgh, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital. She has been in failing health.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ray Chapman at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Sherman was born September 19, 1901 in Johnson County to Frank and Mary Morgan Johnson. She was married June 1, 1916 to Thomas Sherman.
She was a member of the Edinburgh United Methodist Church, Edinburgh Chapter of the Eastern Star, and Over-60 Sunshine Club.
Surviving is a daughter, Mary Francis Pile of Edinburgh, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
