Parmelia Shepard [sic], sent from this county to the insane hospital in 1880, died at that institution last Friday. The remains were taken to Union township for burial.
Note: The Indiana Death Index, 1882-1920 referencing Marion County, Indiana, County Board of Health, Indianapolis Book H-5, page 373 records that Parmelia Sheppard, a seventy-five-year-old white female, died on 31 Oct 1895 in Marion County, Indiana.
