DEATHS.

GREENUP SEXSON.
––––
Many friends gathered at the First Baptist church Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral services of Greenup Sexson, son of Allen Sexson of this city. Deceased was a graduate of Franklin College, and for some time a law student under Col. S. P. Oyler. Several years ago he moved to Frankfort, where he embarked in the real estate business, and after his wife’s death last spring, he went to Pittsburg, Pa., where he died February 4th, after a two weeks illness of pneumonia. Greenup Sexson died in the prime of life, being but thirty-seven years of age. During his residence in this city, he made many friends, and was regarded as a tender hearted, sympathetic and generous man. With two children dependent upon him, he expressed a desire to live, but at the same time expressed no fears of death. While recognizing the mistakes of this life, he yet had confidence in divine forgiveness. His remains were laid at rest in Greenlawn cemetery.
