MRS. JOHN SCOTT PASSED
AWAY MONDAY P. M.

Elizabeth M. Scott; age 61, wife of
John Scott, passed away at the
home west of Pisgah at 4:10 p. m.
Monday following an extended illness.
Funeral rites will be held from the
Pisgah Christian church at 2 p. m.
Wednesday with burial being made in
Rest Haven cemetery, Edinburg.
The deceased was born in Piqua
Ohio May 22, 1875, the daughter of
Silas and Alice Smith Marble. She
was married to John Scott, Nov. 25
1921 and they had been residents of
the Pisgah community for the past
twelve years. She was a member of
the Pisgah Christian church and
and[sic] Nineveh Chapter 466 Eastern Star
Lodge.
Surviving are the husband; four
sisters, Mrs. Mary A. LeMaster of
Indianapolis, Mrs. Stella Welch of
Aurora, Indiana, Mrs. Anna Baxter
of Hudson, Michigan, and Miss Jann-
ette Marble of Cleveland, Ohio.

HELD AT PISGAH TODAY

Funeral rites with Rev. G. F.
Powers assisted by Rev. A. J. Coble
officiating were held from the Pisgah
Christian church at 2 p. m. today for
Mrs. John Scott who passed away
Monday. Interment, Rest Haven
cemetery.
Casket bearers were Frank Prich-
ard, Charles Bills, Elmer Bills, John
Malson, Ed Bridges and George Par-
merlee. Those on the flower com-
mittee were Mrs. Ed Bridges, Mrs.
Charles Bills, Mrs. John Malson, Mr.
Frank Prichard, Mrs. Elmer Bills, and
Mrs. George Parmerlee.
The deceased had been a resident
of the Pisgah community for the past
twelve years.
