Steven Schon, one of Edinburg’s best known citizens, died Monday at his home on south Walnut Street, after several weeks’ illness of dropsy.
Note: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, page 178, referencing Book H-18, page 33, records that Stephen Schon, a forty-six-year-old white male, died 2 Sep 1898 in Edinburg.
