THELMA GLENNA SANDERS
Thelma Glenna Sanders, 79, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at her son’s residence. She was a resident of Sullivan and a former resident of Franklin.
She was born Oct. 17, 1923, in Corbin, Ky. Her parents were Ernest and Ida (Lanham) Felts. She married James E. Adams, Norris Long and Ollie Sanders. They all preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons, Robert Adams of Florida, Jerry Adams of Shelburn, Erich Adams of Sullivan and Norris Long Jr. of Greenwood; three daughters, Marjorie Sue Taylor of Shelburn, Judy Stahl of Franklin and Janet Surratt of Whiteland; two sisters, Verna Wright of Ohio and Leona Fields of Michigan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Shelburn Church of God and AARP.
The Rev. Jerry Ballard will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vandivier-Tudor Bargersville Chapel, 103 Main St. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
