John B. Sanders, age 74 years, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lillie Etchyson, in Franklin. Death was due to old age and an attack of grippe. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from his late residence conducted by Rev. M. S. Heavenridge.
Deceased was born in Shelby county, February 22, 1827. Two daughters and five sons survive him, viz: Mrs. Etchyson, Mrs. John Spicer, both of Franklin, William, Walter and Edwin Sanders of Shelbyville, Alonzo Sanders of Missouri, and Elmer Sanders of California.
