Barnett and was the oldest of the pioneer in that section of the country having come from Kentucky and settled near her late home in 1821, one year before Johnson county was organized. Death resulted from a fall on the ice received last January in which the hip bones were fractured. For fifty years Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Methodist church at Jollity.
