The child of Dr. (?) Maceo abandoned a few years ago in Franklin, and adopted by David Sandefer and wife, died Sunday evening at seven o’clock. The remains were taken to Nineveh Monday afternoon for burial.

Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Franklin, Johnson County, Health Officer’s Record of Death Number 8, page 217, records that Minnie May Sandefer died from convulsions diagnosed as epilepsy, duration four and half hours, caused by a fever of ten hours’ duration at 7 o’clock p.m. on 18 Mar 1900 at her parent’s residence, E. Court St., Franklin, Indiana, aged two years, nineteen months. She was female, white and single, born in Indiana. Her adoptive father’s name was D. A. Sandefer and her mother’s maiden name was unknown. She was buried in Nineveh, Indiana on 19 Mar 1900, undertaker E. G. Barnhizer.
