  Edith P. Roth, 90, died Wednesday,
June 9, 2004, at Franklin Meadows
Nursing Home. She was a resident of
Shelby County.
  She was born April 24, 1914, in
Johnson County. Her parents were
James M. and Catherine M. (Frye)
Hamblen. She married Clarence L.
Roth on Sept. 7, 1935. He preceded
her in death Sept. 30, 2002.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth
Shaw of Shelbyville. She was
preceded in death by a sister,
Mabel Asher.
  She was a homemaker and a farmer.
  She was a member of Bengal
Christian Church.
  The Rev. James Clifton will conduct
a service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at
Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E.
Main Cross St. in Edinburgh.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until
service time Saturday at the
funeral home. Burial will be at
Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to
1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Eskew-Eaton
Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St.
in Edinburgh.
  Funeral services will be at 1:30
p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
  Interment will be in Rest Haven
Cemetery, in Edinburgh.
