Clarence L. Roth

Clarence L. Roth, 91, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at Franklin Meadows Nursing Home. He was a resident of Shelby County.

He was born Oct. 20, 1910, in Bar­tholomew County. His parents were John W. and Minnie (Lee) Roth. He married Edith P. (Hamblen) Roth on Sept. 7, 1935. She survives. Other sur­vivors include a sister, Irene (Roth) Stillabower of Fairland. He was preced­ed in death by three brothers, Walter, Ralph and Clifton Roth.

He was a longtime farmer in Shelby County.

He was a member of Bengal Christ­ian Church.

The Rev. James Clifton will conduct a service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edin­burgh. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh — Clarence L. Roth, 91, of Shelby County died at 4:47 p.m. Monday, Sept 30, 2002, at Franklin Meadows Nursing Home in Franklin.

Mr. Roth was a longtime Shelby County farmer and a member of Bengal Christian Church.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. James Clifton officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Ceme­tery.
