Death of Mrs. Rondthaler.
Mrs. J. A. Rondthaler, wife of the pastor of the Tabernacle church, of Indianapolis, died Saturday morning. Her death was caused by tubercular peritonitis. The funeral will be held this afternoon. Mrs. Rondthaler had many friends in this city.

Notes: The Marion County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-5, page 228, records that J. D. [sic] Mrs. Rondthaler, a forty-eight-year-old white female, died 22 Dec 1894 in Indianapolis.
The 1880 US Federal Census for Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland records thirty-five-year-old, Maryland-born minister J. A. Rondthaler, his wife, thirty-five-year-old, Pennsylvania-born Amelia J. Rondthaler, and their children, all of whom, except the youngest (born in Maryland), were born in Pennsylvania.
The R.L. Polk & Co. Indianapolis, Indiana City Directory for 1890 records Albert J. Rondthaler, pastor of the Tabernacle Presbyterian church.
