OBITUARY.
William Arthur, son of James H. Robards and wife, after an illness of four days, died Jan. 5, 1898, age one year, four months and five days.
He leaves father, mother, brother and many other friends to mourn their loss. He was laid to rest by the side of his two other brothers Jan. 8, at the Hopewell cemetery, services conducted by Rev. Jones of Whiteland.
In the grave so silently
We lay Arta to rest
To Dannie and brother,
Which are with the blest.
“We can go with you no farther,”
Wails piteously the father.
You leave behind you, Arthur,
Papa, mamma and brother.
We will miss you, Artie.
In our quiet country home,
But we can meet you, darling,
When the judgment day comes.
