==============================
Mrs. Elizabeth Ritchey wife of L. P. Ritchey, died last Friday evening at seven o’clock after an illness of several weeks, in the 76th year of her age. She was born in Kentucky and was a sister of Dr. Thomas Noble, of Greenwood. For many years she had been a resident of Franklin and had a large circle of friends who recognized in her a woman of noble traits of character and Christian virtues. A husband and four children survive her, viz: Mrs. S. B. Eccles, L. E. Ritchey and Miss Lizzie Ritchey, of this city, and Mrs. Louisa McKay of Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o’clock from the residence, conducted by Rev. L. P. Marshall. The remains were taken to Indianapolis on the 10:50 train and interred in Crown Hill cemetery, where the parents of the deceased are buried. Mrs. Ritchey had always expressed a desire to be buried by the side of her father, Geo. T. Noble, and her wishes were carried out.
