The undersigned coroner of Johnson County, Indiana, did on the 19th day of Jan., 1894, and other days hold an inquest on the body of John Riplinger, found dead in the city of Franklin, in said county, on the 19th day of January 1894.
Having viewed the body and heard the testimony of witnesses I find that the deceased came to his death by being accidentally struck on the head while unloading a derrick off a wagon.
Deceased was about thirty years old, five feet and nine inches high, weight about 200 pounds. No valuables found on body.
