Marshall Ries
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. David Bremer Monday morn- ing at 10:00 a.m. at Vandivier-Pars- ley Funeral Home South Edinburgh Chapel for Marsh- all Ries, 85, of Lansing, Michigan, who died at Lansing Thursday after a six-weeks illness. Serving as pall- bearers were Orval Waltz, L.E. Newton, Otis Jones, Dale Mutz, Wayne Kell- ams and Jerry Sim- on deMontfort. Mr. Ries formerly lived in Edinburgh when his daughter, Mrs. Koscoe Cutsin- ger and family li- ved in Edinburg. Mr. Ries was born May 24, 1892, at Joplin, Mo., to Robert and Nancy Marsha11 Ries. Survivors inclu- de two children, Mrs. Nancy Cutsin- ger of Lansing, Mich., and Robert Ries of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; eight grandchild- ren, Karen Simon DeMontfort, Nanci Ann Bennett , Mary Lou Musilli, Nora and Charlotte Cut- singer and Christ- opher, John and Ni~ coli Ries, and four great-grand- children. A veteran of Wo- rld War I, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, who died while the couple lived in Ed- inburgh.

Marshall Ries
Funeral service for Marshall Ries, 85, formerly of Edinburgh, was conducted at 10 a.m. today at the Vandivier-Parsley Edinburg Funeral Home by the Rev. David Bremer. Burial was at Rest Haven cemetery. Ries died Thursday at Lansing, Mich.
Pallbearers were Orval Waltz, L. E. Newton, Otis Jones, Dale Mutz, Wayne Kellams and Jerry Simon de Montfort.
