EDINBURGH — Donald R. Ridpath, 70, of 507 Lincoln, died at 11 p.m. Monday at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
Ridpath retired from Arvin Industries in 1978. He was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church, Edinburgh Masonic Lodge and American Legion. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Ray Chapman at 2 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, where calling hours will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Born Dec. 27, 1915, he was the son of Frank and Estelle Coy Ridpath. He married Corrine Day June 14, 1947 and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by a brother, Merle Ridpath, of Edinburgh.

Donald R. Ridpath, 69, Edinburgh, died Monday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Indianapolis to Frank and Estella (Coy) Ridpath.
He retired in 1978 as an employee of Arvin Industries, Columbus.
He was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church, Edinburgh Masonic Lodge 100 and Edinburgh American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
The Rev. Ray Chapman will officiate.
He is survived by a brother, Merle Ridpath, Edinburgh.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Corrine (Day) Ridpath in 1984, and three brothers, Ralph, Kenneth and Merrill Ridpath.
