Lloyd Edgar ‘Ed’ Ridge

Lloyd Edgar “Ed” Ridge, 60, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at Kindred Hos­pital in Greenwood. He was a resident of Franklin.

He was born June 24, 1941, in Celina, Tenn. His parents were Floyd and Clara (Johnson) Ridge. He married Sally (Medira) Ridge on May 24, 1974. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Betty Goodall of Frank­lin and Patricia Ridge of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Jay Ridge of Red Bluff, Calif., Tom Ridge of Riverside, Calif., and Bob Ridge of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and three sisters, Ruth Coy of Columbus, Mary Coy of Nineveh and Barbara Yates of Greenwood.

He attended Franklin schools.

He was employed by Franklin Com­munity School Corp. as a custodian for the past 15 years.

He was a member of Edinburgh Assembly of God Church.

The Rev. Larry McCormick will con­duct a service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
