Young Richeson
Dies In Hospital
Young Richeson, 71, a lifelong resident of Johnson County, died Wednesday at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Vandivier Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 12 noon Friday.
Born At Nineveh
He married the former Lottie Coleman, Aug. 8, 1919. Mrs. Richeson preceded her husband in death.
Mr. Richeson was a farmer during the early part of his life and was with the Johnson County Highway Commission for the last 20 years.
He was a member of the Old Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and attended the Shiloh Church.
Mr. Richeson received his education in the Nineveh schools and was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by a daughter, Thelma Abbott, New Albany; four sons, Luther and Harold, Indianapolis; Charles, Martinsville; Ralph, Greenwood; a brother, Olda, Morgantown; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
