Dies At Hospital
Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) Vivian Richeson, wife of Young Richeson, died shortly after noon Monday in the Johnson County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since last Wednesday. She had been ill since August.
The body has been taken to the Vandivier Funeral Home, 951 North Main street, for the completion of arrangements.
The daughter of the late Lewis and Emma Grose Coleman, Mrs. Richeson was born at Morgantown on Jan. 25, 1902, and received her education in the Morgan County schools.
On Aug. 20, 1919, she became bride of Mr. Richeson and five children were born to them.
Moved to Nineveh
Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Nineveh and about 16 years ago moved to four miles south of Franklin on the Mauxferry Road.
Mrs. Richeson was a member of the Shiloh Community church, Ladies Aid and the Nineveh chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Those who survive with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Abbott, of New Albany; four sons, Luther Richeson, Harold E. Richeson, of Indianapolis; Ralph C. Richeson, of Greenwood; and Charles Richeson, Greensburg; and 13 grandchildren.
Others remaining are a great-grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Edna Ragsdale, of Franklin; Mrs. Ruby White, of Trafalgar; Mrs. Christine Caradine, of Chicago, Ill.; and three brothers, J. S. Coleman, of Great Falls, Mont.; George Coleman, of Franklin; and Marion Coleman, of Indianapolis.
