      EDINBURGH — Edna G. Records, 89, died Wednesday at Faith Nursing Home in
Edinburgh.
      She is survived by her husband, James L. Records of Edinburgh.  They were
married Dec. 24, 1916.  Mrs. Records had been a member of New Hope
Christian Church since 1909.
      Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Matt Malott at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh where calling hours will
be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in
Edinburgh.
      Mrs. Records was born Oct. 10, 1895, in Bartholomew County, the daughter
of Richard D. and Martha Zeigler Goble.
      Other survivors include three sons, Carl J. Records of Cape May, N.J.,
Levi Neal Records of Franklin route 4, and Richard L. Records of
Edinburgh; a daughter, Kathleen Smith of Charlotte, N.C; 10 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
