RANSDELL, Noah M.
Date of death: 23 Jun 1888 Nineveh, Johnson County, Indiana
Franklin Republican, June 29, 1888
NOAH M. RANSDELL.
Noah M. Ransdell, a prominent and well known citizen of Nineveh township, died on Saturday night of last week, of heart disease. Mr. Ransdell had been sick for some time with pneumonia of a dangerous type, but had almost recovered, being at the time of his death almost free of fever. His family, friends and physician expected that he would soon be about again in full health. But about a half hour before his death, he began to complain of trouble in the region of the heart, gradually growing worse until death relieved his suffering.
His funeral, which took place on Tuesday was very largely attended, attesting the high esteem in which he is held by his friends and neighbors. Mr. Ransdell was about fifty-five years old, has long been a resident of Johnson county, and was well and favorably known. He was a member of the Union Christian church, and his funeral will be preached at that place on next Sunday, by Elder John C. Miller of Nineveh.
