JAMES M. PRITCHARD DEAD
James M. Pritchard died last Friday morning at the home of his son, Edgar Pritchard, west of Amity. Death was due to influenza. Mr. Pritchard was eighty-six years of age. He was born in Johnson county where he spent practically all his life. Since the death of his wife eighteen years ago, he has made his home with his children. For some time he had been with a niece in Morgan county, until he became ill, when his son took him to his home. He leaves two daughters and two sons. They are Mrs. Allie Holdcroft and Mrs. Ed Hamblin of Edinburg, William Pritchard of Alabama and Edgar Pritchard. For many years Mr. Pritchard had been a member of the Pisgah M. E. church.
The funeral was held at the home of Edgar Pritchard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial at Kansas, Bartholomew County.
