Mrs. Pritchard [sic], whose illness was mentioned last week, died Wednesday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Ed. Hamblin, near Edinburg. Deceased was sixty-six years old. Funeral services will be held today. Burial at the Kansas graveyard [Bartholomew County, Indiana].

Mrs. Lucretia Pritchard [sic], who has been in poor health for several years, died at her home Wednesday morning at 7 o’clock, age 66 years, 3 months and 1 day. She leaves a husband, two sons and two daughters to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at the residence, conducted by Elder J. K. Mathis. The remains were taken to Kansas [Bartholomew County, Indiana] for burial.

Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Edinburg, Blue River, Johnson County, page 193, records that Lucretia A. Prichard died from pulmonary phthisis, duration four years, at 7 o’clock a. m. on 21 Mar 1900 in Nineveh Township, aged sixty-six years, three months and one day, born in Indiana. She was female, white, married and a housewife. Her father’s name was Alexander Stephens [sic] and her mother’s maiden name was Chinessa Martin. She was buried in Kansas [Bartholomew County, Indiana] on 23 Mar 1900, undertaker G. M. Breeding of Edinburg.
