OBITUARY.
Mrs. Rosalie Price, daughter of Robert and Jane Vandivier, died June 6th, 1896, at her home in Union township. Her soul took its flight to God, who gave it, after a long while of affliction of that most dreadful disease, consumption. The short life was one to do her no discredit. She was married to Wm. H. Price, whose death occurred Jan. 31st 1893. Why she was called so soon, God knows best. But God be thanked for that blessed hope for our dear ones who die in the Lord, for henceforth they shall come forth and reap their reward, which is a never ending glory and one eternal bliss. For if heaven be gained, there can be nothing lost. God hath given and God hath taken away. He doeth all things for the best, so you know thy daughter is at rest.
She was a member of the Christian church. The funeral services took place at First Mt. Pleasant church, conducted by Rev. J. C. Ashley, of Franklin. Burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. H.P.
