Death of John T. Powers.
John T. Powers, age 66 years, died suddenly last Saturday afternoon at three o’clock at his home in Clark township from heart disease. But a few minutes before his death he had been sitting under a tree in the yard watching carpenters at work on an addition to his house and appeared to be in good health. He went into the house and complained of not feeling well. He lay down and, before a physician could be summoned, expired. The funeral took place at Boggstown, Monday, conducted by the pastor of the Presbyterian church. Deceased was the father-in-law of Milford Mozingo, and a highly respected citizen.

Mr. J. T. Powers died very suddenly Saturday evening about 3 o’clock of stomach and heart trouble. The funeral took place at Boggstown Monday at 10 a.m. Another old and high respected citizen of Clark township, at rest.
