A special from Shelbyville, Friday, says; While working in the veneering room of the Birely & Co. table factory today. Willis Pile, age 19 and single, pulled an iron press over on himself, a flange on which penetrated his skull, killing him. When falling Pile, doubt-less not anticipating the result, shouted to his fellow workmen, "Good-bye, boys."
