Mrs. Elizabeth Perry, age 60 years, died Monday at her home in Edinburg. Her husband, Simpson Perry, and nine children survive her.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, page 181, records that Elizabeth Perry died of pulmonary tuberculosis of one year’s duration , at about 4 p. m. on 22 Jan 1900 in Edinburg, Blue River Township, Johnson County, Indiana, age 60 years, 3 months and 27 days. She was white, female, married and a housewife, born in Belmont County, Ohio. Her father’s name was Joseph Blaney (born in Penselvaney [sic]) and her mother’s name Rachel Blaney (birthplace unknown). This information was reported by Dr. William Todd and her husband, Simpson Perry. She was buried in Edinburg on 24 Jan 1900, undertaker J. M. Breeding.
