LUCILE MARIE PARMERLEE
Lucile Marie Parmerlee, 93, died Friday, March 19, 2004, in Morrison, Colo. She was a resident of Littleton, Colo., and a former resident of Edinburgh.
She was born Aug. 23, 1910, in Seymour. Her parents were Dytes H. and Joy Pearl (Brown) Abell. She married Hovey F. Parmerlee on Oct. 12, 1935. He preceded her in death Feb. 2, 1957. Survivors include a son, David Parmerlee of Seabrook, Md.; a daughter, Rosemary Wolfe of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Waneta Franklin of Elkhart; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Seymour High School.
She was executive secretary to Ralph Kail at Edinburgh Grain Elevator and owner-operator of Parmerlee Rental Service in Edinburgh.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Edinburgh and Edinburgh Tri Kappa.
The Rev. Byron Fritz will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh. Friends may call from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
