Mary Ann Jacobs, wife of Charles O. Park, was gathered to the home of our Heavenly Father Wednesday evening, Nov. 7th [sic] at 11 o’clock. She was 24 years of age. Mrs. Park has been a sufferer from the dreaded disease, consumption, for more than a year. She was a loving mother, a kind and affectionate wife and a friend to all, one who will be greatly missed. She leaves a husband and three small children, besides a host of friends to mourn their loss. She was never a member of any church, yet we know that the all wise God will extend his mighty arms with tender care to receive her. Although not a professor of Christianity, we believe her to be one who loved her God and tried to live at that when she was called over she would be taken into the arms of the Savior and blessed. There were no funeral services, and after a short talk by W. V. King, her remains were laid to rest in the Bargersville cemetery.
