Mrs. Ellen O’Leary, wife of Dennis O’Leary died at her home in Edinburg on Sunday at the age of sixty-eight years. She was a highly respected lady.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Edinburg, Johnson County, Indiana records sixty-year-old, Ireland-born Dennis O’Leary, his sixty-year-old, Ireland-born wife Ellen O’Leary and two of their Indiana-born children, eighteen-year-old Mary and sixteen-year-old Edward O’Leary.
