Miss Mary Nickerson, age 64 years, died suddenly from heart failure Tuesday night; at the home of G. M. Overstreet Jr., west of town. She had lived at the home of Mr. Overstreet for the past thirteen years. She was born in England, but had lived in this country for forty years, a great part of that time having been spent near Bengal [Shelby County]. Funeral services were held at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. L. P. Marshall.
