Arrangements are pending at Eskin Funeral Home in Edinburg. Edinburgh Tri-County Enterprise 13 Jul 1977 EVERETT NAIL DIES Everett Nail, 75, 599 Center Street, Franklin, and a long-time resident of Edinburg, died Tuesday morning at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis where he had had surgery last week. Funeral services will be at 10:30 Thursday morning at Eskin Funeral Home in Edinburg with the Rev. Lawrence Tedrow assisted by the interim minister at Amith Baptist Church, the Rev. Robert Marlett. Friends may call at any time. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. The family requests that Gideon Bibles be placed. Mr. Nail was born Dec. 25, 1901, in Johnson County the son of Edward and Myrtle Davis Nail. He was an Edinburg High School graduate, and Franklin College graduate and taught school in the Needham Township schools until he retired. He served a year as principal at Needham. He first married Evelyn Snively of Columbus who preceded in death and married Opal Akles on Aug. 19, 1972 who survives. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Edinburg and also a 50-year member of the Edinburg Masonic Lodge.
