Ralph, the fifteen months old son of Lafe [Lafayette] Mundon [sic] and wife, living north of town, died Wednesday morning at six o’clock, after ten days illness. The funeral takes place this morning at 11 o’clock at the Methodist Protestant church, Hurricane.
Note: The 1900 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana, records Lafayette Munden, his wife Lena [Bryan] Munden and their second son, Lafayette B. Munden. Lafayette B was born 8 May 1897 to these parents [Johnson County Indiana WPA Birth Index 1882-1920 Book H-4, page 16] and died 20 Feb 1916 [ Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index 1882-1920 page 135]. All three can be found on the same headstone on findagrave. There are no other Lafe Mundens in Johnson County.
