Died—At 12 M., [sic] on Monday, of typhoid fever, at the home of her son-in-law, Frank Kirby, Mrs. Jane Mullins, aged 83. Funeral Thursday at the Rocklane Christian church; burial in Nolin’s cemetery.

The 1860 and 1870 US Federal Census for Clark, Johnson County, Indiana record Jane Mullins birthplace as Kentucky. She is the wife of Patrick Mullins.
Marriages of Campbell, Boone and Kenton Counties, Kentucky 1795–1850 records that Patrick Mullins married Jane Hutchinson on 31 Dec 1828 in Campbell County, Kentucky.
Jane (Hutchinson) Mullins is buried next to Patrick H. Mullins (Find A Grave Memorial# 46432672) in the Nolin Cemetery. They and two of their daughters who died young are the only Mullins buried in this cemetery.
