EDINBURG, Oct. 5.—Mrs. Eliza­beth C. Milnes, age 86, died Tuesday afternoon at 5:15 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Stillabower, one and one-half miles northeast of Wilson Corner in Shelby county, where she was visiting at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Edinburg Methodist church. The Rev. Ray Bozell will conduct the services. Burial will be made in Rest Haven cemetery.

Mrs. Milnes was the daughter of Samuel and Martha Anderson Coy and was born August 22, 1858.

She was married to William T. Milnes, who with three children preceded her in death. The survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Stillabower, and two sons, Alvin Milnes, Mor­ristown, R. R., and Roy E. Milnes, Edinburg, R. R. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Coffman, Edin­burg, who made her home with the deceased, and Mrs. Ardella Edward, of Clifford, and one brother, R. A. Coy, of Edinburg.

Mrs. Milnes was a member of the New Bethel Christian church, and an associate member of the Edinburg Methodist church. Friends are invited to call at the late home, 306 South Main Street, Edinburg, after 7:30 p.m., Wed­nesday.

Edinburg, Oct. 4 — Mrs. Elizabeth C. Milnes, 86, died at 5:15 o’clock Tuesday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stillabower in Shelby county.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Edinburg Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Ray Bozell, and burial will be made at Rest Haven cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence, 306 Main Street in Edinburg, after 7:30 o’clock tonight.

Mrs. Milnes was born Aug. 22, 1858, in Bartholomew county and was married to William T. Milnes early in life. They resided in Bartholomew county for a number of years until he retired from farming and they moved to Edinburg.

Mr. Milnes died several years ago.

They were the parents of six children, three of whom survive, Alvin L. Milnes of Morristown, Roy E. Milnes of Edinburg rural route, and Mrs. Stillabower of Shelby county. Also surviving are 11 grand­children, 13 great-grand­children; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Coffman of Edinburg and Mrs. Ardella Edwards of Clifford, and a brother, R.A. Coy of Edinburg.

Mrs. Milnes was a member of the New Bethel church.
